University of Latvia Center for Diaspora and Migration Research (UL CDMR) invites researchers currently working abroad to apply for Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowships (MSCA), the purpose of which is to support the mobility of experienced researchers between countries.

The researcher submits the Marie Curie scholarship application in cooperation with the research institution, UL CDMR. Application conditions – PhD degree and no more than 8 years of research experience, counting from the date of award of the PhD degree. Projects can last from 12 to 24 months. Please note that the researcher must not have lived or carried out his main activity (work, studies) in Latvia for more than 12 months during the last three years immediately after the application deadline. CDMR is an interdisciplinary research center focused on the study of migration issues. We work in close cooperation with specialists from various fields (human geography, humanities, social sciences) and institutions responsible for diaspora and remigration policy in Latvia, incl. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and others. The center is located in the premises of the University of Latvia Faculty of Social Sciences, providing access to the latest literature and the opportunity to meet with various industry specialists and enthusiasts.
